Following the Saturday morning breakfast we had a really nice turnout at Ray's for the Alamo A's distributor clinic.  It was a beautiful day and the shop was open with plenty of room for all to see the displays Ray had set up.  He and Jimmy Taylor discussed various items of interest with distributors and ignition systems.  Jimmy had an electronic system installed in his car and explained it's workings to an interested group.  Much discussion followed with many getting answers to long standing questions.

Ray had assembled a very interesting cross section of distributors over the years and showed us the differences.  An offshoot developed into identifying the various timing gear covers and timing gears.

Prior to working with the cars and displays, the group assembled in Ray and Neva's media area to view the Dallas Model A Club's video on the distributor and how to rebuild it.  Neva baked us a wonderful pineapple upside down cake served with tea.  What wonderful hospitality, thanks so much!
